Privacy notice

This notice explains what the Cennex waitlist at joincennex.com collects, why, and how to have it removed. Questions: info@joincennex.com.

What we collect

Individual waitlist. Your email address; your first name if you give it; that you joined on the basis that we’ll email you development updates and a launch notification, with the wording shown when you joined and when; your optional answers about your roles and the games or communities you’re involved in; which button you used to join; and your approximate country, which Cloudflare derives from your connection.

Organization interest. A contact email, your organization’s name, what you’re interested in if you tell us, and the approximate country of the connection.

Spam protection. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To limit repeated attempts we keep short-lived counters keyed by a one-way hash of the connection’s IP address and of the email entered; they expire within a day. We do not store raw IP addresses with your signup.

One cookie. After you join, a cookie named __Host-cx_signup lets this browser add your optional answers to the signup it just made. It expires after two hours and is not used for tracking. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To keep your place on the waitlist and understand who Cennex is for.
• To email you development updates and a launch notification. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To contact organizations that registered interest, about Cennex for organizations.

We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.

Where it’s stored

The site and the waitlist database run on Cloudflare (Workers and D1). Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and operates Turnstile. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Your choices

To stop emails, unsubscribe from any email we send or write to us. To remove your entry entirely, email info@joincennex.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until you ask us to remove them or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first.
